A home invasion took place at NFL star Saquon Barkley’s Pennsylvania residence Sunday morning, according to officials.

The incident happened at the Philadelphia Eagles running back’s home in Tredyffrin Township, according to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.
Barkley and his family were inside the home at the time of the incident, and one suspect did enter the home, police told NBC Philadelphia, but no one was injured. The district attorney’s office is asking the public for help with the investigation.
“We are asking the public to help us identify those responsible by checking any home security cameras for suspicious activity in the area around 5:00 a.m.,” the office said. “If you saw anything unusual or have video that may assist investigators, please contact the Tredyffrin Township Police Department immediately.”
The investigation is ongoing.
This incident appears to be the latest in a string of break-ins targeting high-profile athletes’ homes.
Last summer, a Seattle man was charged in connection with burglaries at the homes of four current and former NFL and MLB players, including Seattle Mariners pitcher Luis Castillo and former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.
In February 2025, three men alleged to be part of a South American theft group were indicted in the break-in at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home.
A New York native, Barkley began his NFL career in 2018 with the New York Giants before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.
The running back was named the Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 after a standout debut season with the Eagles.
