Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick joins TODAY to talk about his new memoir, “The Perilous Fight.” He opens up about what led to his decision to kneel during the national anthem, saying, “I had a sense of, ‘Well, I have to do something… What action am I going to take to try to change this?’” He also shares why he chooses not to watch NFL games and reveals what it would take for him to step back on the field. “The scale and magnitude of change that needs to happen, largely hasn’t,” he says.
